Synopsis "Coyote Hills (in English)"
"In the midst of death they were just shadows that faded away. Ones not seen, and ones certainly not missed by the Calvary. To them it was just one less Navajo." Death plays no favoritism, whether young or old, everyone loses someone they love. We can't control that, no matter how much we wish we could, but the tragedies in our lives do help to define who we become. They bring the past, present, and future together in more ways than we know, or understand, and show us who we are, and who we're supposed to be... Pain and heartbreak came to Aiyana at an early age when she lost her parents in a horrific accident, leaving her and her sister all alone. Having no family they could remember, they were thrown into the cold, uncaring, harsh realities of institutional care. It was that tragedy that led her to become a nurse, so that she could have a better understanding of death, but in the process she'd forgotten how to have a life. When she walked courageously through the doors of Coyote Hills, hoping to regain the life she'd lost, secrets of the past began to unravel. Secrets so powerful they called out to be found. Secrets that had been buried for over a hundred years, buried deep in a world she never would have believed existed. A world hidden by darkness, and fueled by pain and fear, one that would change her life, and the lives of her loved ones forever.
