Colony of Courage is the story of two groups of Humans abducted from Earth in the early second century A.D.. One group of several hundred is abandoned on a planet to die of starvation and exposure. The other group find themselves in Roman Asia in 119 A.D. one minute and among aliens in an interstellar community the next. They face culture and technological shock.
