Synopsis "Choir of Angels (in English)"
Christmas, the most wonderful time of the year. For some, that may be true, but there are those residing in Rivers Run who are feeling bah-humbug. Harry Summers and Zippy Underwood have plans to get married on New Year's Eve so that they can begin their life together as man and wife for the new year. When Harry gets disturbing news from the doctor, he attempts to keep the information from Zippy, causing a rift between them that threatens to cancel their wedding.Josh Hill's grandmother is failing. She spends hours reading her bible and talking about angels. Fearing that she is seriously ill, he's torn between keeping his shop open, or closing it up to take care of her. He asks his old high school sweetheart, Cicily, to help him out, going so far as to offer her a place where she and her children can live, in exchange for her help in the shop. Cicily, a recovering drug addict, is struggling with her own demons as she fights her way back to regaining custody of her children. Will she be brave enough to accept Josh's offer, or will she remain hidden away, afraid to face the world that has shunned her?Doug Sterling receives devastating news about his brother, Joey, who is serving in the military.
