"From Hood to Good", is a spiritual series beginning with this testimonial poetry book, this is an introduction (to a tell all open book of my life) using a series of poems compilated and geared towards inspiring, encouraging, and uplifting all readers. My prayer is for you to understand that we all go from being a mess to blessed. The term "Hood" is not being used to pinpoint a specific impoverished community or certain ethnic group, but to express a particular state of mind or spiritual decline, while the term "Good" is representative of how the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross has given us all the grace and mercy to be saved and become better followers of Christ. Each poem in this series of compilations are based on true experiences throughout my life and are testimonies of how a sinner like me has continued to be covered through the power of prayer and the promises of God's Purpose for my life. (reference the scripture Jeremiah 29:11 about God's plans for us to prosper) I understand that many of us go through similar situations, yet we choose to try and hide our issues. Prayerfully, these God-gifted, God-inspired, and God-freeing original, spiritual, poetic words will be enlightening to assist in everyday life just as your daily bread but with a major dose of realness.
