cavapoo Cavapoos are a recent hybrid breed of dog with a lineage directly from Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and Poodles. They are not a recognised breed, and their genetics are still very unpredictable. A puppy could have inherited genes predominantly from either gene pool in its lineage. Some Cavapoos have coats that shed regularly, and others have coats that shed very little. The hypoallergenic Poodle gene is not a guarantee because the breed is too recent. Whichever gene pool a puppy may lean towards, one thing is certain - it will grow into a cute and cuddly looking dog with a kind and gentle nature. Cavapoos thrive on human company, are eager to please and train easily because they are intelligent dogs. One thing a Cavapoo is not is an outside dog that gets very little attention! Cavapoos have to be integrated into a household and be part of the family for them to flourish and grow into happy, healthy dogs. In return, they give unconditional love, loyalty and dedication to their family. Cavapoos are excellent companion dogs that enjoy outdoor play, walks and keeping humans company.
