L'Al 6082 a été choisi comme alliage de matrice tandis que le zirconium et la poudre de verre de tailles 540nm et 151nm sont considérés comme des renforts. La microstructure, la dureté et le comportement à l'usure du composite hybride ont été étudiés et comparés à l'alliage de base.
