After 25 years of miserable marriage Eric the electrician leaves. His wife Sarah and control freak mother-in-law look out to sea wondering where he had disappeared too. Perplexed and bewildered they return home to find 'the note' saying he had left for good. Their cook, waiter, cleaner, gardener, decorator, taxi driver, and bread winner had gone forever. From now on they would have to fend for themselves. Maude, the mother-in-law from hell, took it badly. She notified the police he had run off with all her money and filed a claim for insurance, saying he was dead or missing, perhaps both, and it was her boat he had stolen. However, Eric tempts Sarah to join him in his new life and to make babies. You cannot get a happier ending than that.
