In dieser Arbeit soll der Begriff an sich geklärt werden, die besonderen Herausforderung im Lehrberuf und das damit einhergehende erhöhte Risiko von Burnout beschrieben werden und dies mit Zahlen aus Erhebungen sowie einer Erhebung mittels Interview belegt werden. Eine Verhaltensanalyse nach dem SORC-Modell gibt einen Einblick in eventuell dysfunktionales Verhalten, die folgende Makroanalyse Auskunft über mögliche Ursachen.
