Synopsis "Brush and Swish, Like a Fish: How the Luck-shell Keeps His Pearly Whites Pearly (in English)"
Luckshell is the luckiest shellfish in the ocean. He has lots of cool friends, and he grows a mouthful of pearls, which makes eating pineapples, bananas, and seaweed much easier. When the Luckshell loses a tooth, the Sea Fairy gives him a sand-dollar, the currency in his oceanic world, to add to his fishy- bank. When Luckshell's pearly whites start turning yellow, and his friends stay away from him because of his fish-breath, he learns the importance of taking care of his pearls to keep them free of food gunk and at their whitest white. Young readers will be motivated to brush their own teeth, when they learn to sing the story's toothbrushing jingle.
