Blue is an anthology of poetry and prose featuring Jamaican and other poets from around the globe. Looking back, I now see how very privileged my siblings and I were and how many families had to struggle hard to provide a secondary education for their children. Even grappling with the decision be-tween education, menial work, and having food to eat. When the idea to produce an anthology came to me after meeting several poets within the past year I was undoubtedly excited to pitch it. The support was amazing! Giving back to my old college alma mater in Jamaica was as simple as 'calling all poets' from the old school on the hill. A labor of love for this fund raising project, and a few weeks later 'Blue' came to life. You will read poems from all poets, enjoy their different styles, explore genres, and even twist your tongue with some Jamaican patois! Enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed putting it all together.
