Einsendeaufgabe aus dem Jahr 2020 im Fachbereich Psychologie - Biologische Psychologie, Note: 1,0, SRH Fernhochschule, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Mit seiner kaum überschaubaren Architektur ist das Nervensystem mit seinen Milliarden von Nervenzellen, kilometerlangen Nervenfasern und deren komplizierten Verknüpfungen eines der komplexesten biologischen Systeme des menschlichen Körpers. Als elektrochemisches Hochgeschwindigkeitskommunikationsnetz lenkt es alle physiologischen Prozesse des Körpers wie die Wahrnehmung von sensorischen Eindrücken, die Aufrechterhaltung des inneren Gleichgewichts und die Reizweiterleitung. Strukturell lässt sich das Nervensystem folgenderma en unterteilen: das zentrale Nervensystem (ZNS) beinhaltet Gehirn und rückenmark; das periphere Nervensystem (PNS) umfasst alle Nervenfasern; das zentrale Nervensystem schlie lich verbindet die Sinnesrezeptoren mit den Muskeln und den Drüsen. Der Übergang zwischen beiden Nervensystemen liegt im Rückenmark. Das periphere Nervensystems wird zudem in das somatische und vegetative (autonomes) Nervensystem unterteilt.
