Synopsis "Biodiesel-Produktion (in German)"

Muschelschalen (CaO) wurden als heterogener basischer Katalysator für die Umesterung von Altspeiseöl mit hohem FFA-Gehalt untersucht. Biodiesel wurde durch Umesterung hergestellt. Das Altspeiseöl wurde filtriert und 30 Minuten lang bei Raumtemperatur in einem Magnetrührer gemischt. Das veresterte Öl wurde dann mit kalzinierten Muschelschalen (CaO) als Katalysator und einem Methanol-Öl-Verhältnis von 6:1 in Biodiesel umgewandelt. Die Eigenschaften des CaO-Katalysators wurden mittels Röntgenbeugung (XRD), Rasterelektronenmikroskopie und energiedispersiver Röntgenstrahlung (SEM-EDAX), Fourier-Transformations-Infrarotspektroskopie (FTIR) und Gaschromatographie-Massenspektrometrie (GCMS) untersucht. Die Struktur der Muschelschalen wurde auch mittels FTIR charakterisiert.
