Synopsis "BIODEGRADABLE FILME aus Hedychium coronarium (in German)"

Da flexible Verpackungen aus synthetischem Kunststoff zu einem Umweltproblem geworden sind, weil sie nicht biologisch abbaubar sind, stellt die Verwendung natürlicher Polymere bei der Herstellung biologisch abbaubarer Materialien eine Alternative dar. Biologisch abbaubare Folien können hauptsächlich aus Polysacchariden, insbesondere Stärke, hergestellt werden. Ziel dieser Arbeit war es, die in den Rhizomen der Pflanze Hedychium coronarium vorhandene Stärke zu extrahieren, zu charakterisieren und für die Herstellung biologisch abbaubarer Folien zu verwenden. Die physikalischen und chemischen Eigenschaften der Stärke und der hergestellten Folien wurden bewertet. Die Folien zeigten eine Zersetzung in etwa 45 Tagen. Die Anwendung von Stärkefolien als Träger für Vitamin C zeigte, dass der Verlust an Masse und Wirkstoff von der Zusammensetzung der biologisch abbaubaren Folien abhängt.
