Das Hauptziel dieser Studie ist die Formulierung und Bewertung eines pulsierenden bioadhäsiven Verabreichungssystems für antiflipidämische Medikamente. Die vorliegende Forschungsarbeit beschreibt eine Kombination des pulsatilen bioadhäsiven Prinzips, die für einen bestimmten Ort und eine bestimmte Zeit sehr geeignet ist. Die gastroretentive Verabreichung von Arzneimitteln ist ein Ansatz, um die Verweildauer im Magen zu verlängern und so die Freisetzung von Arzneimitteln im oberen Gastrointestinaltrakt für lokale oder systemische Wirkungen gezielt zu steuern. Es werden mehrere Ansätze für die Verabreichung von Arzneimitteln mit Rückhaltung im Magen-Darm-Trakt entwickelt, darunter: Systeme mit hoher Dichte (sinkend), die am Boden des Magens verbleiben, Systeme mit geringer Dichte (schwimmend), die im Magensaft Auftrieb erzeugen, mukoadhäsive Systeme, die eine Bioadhäsion an der Magenschleimhaut bewirken, unflexible, dehnbare oder quellfähige Systeme.
