Raumplanung, Note: 1,0, Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (Institut für Geographie), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: In dieser Arbeit soll der Fokus auf der Bevölkerungsentwicklung Äthiopiens, eines unter vielen subsaharischen "least developed countries", liegen. Dabei sollen wichtige demographische Trends thematisiert und deren ursächliche Hintergründe beleuchtet werden. Im Hinblick auf entwicklungspolitische Ma nahmen soll herausgestellt werden, wo man in diesem Teufelskreis aus Unterentwicklung und Überbevölkerung ansetzen sollte. Ist die Pille, das hei t bevölkerungspolitische Ma nahmen im weitesten Sinne, die beste Entwicklung? Oder ist Entwicklung, das hei t soziale und ökonomische Entwicklung der Bevölkerung, die beste Pille und damit treibende Kraft im Fertilitätsrückgang? Leider reicht der Umfang dieser Arbeit jedoch bei weitem nicht aus, um auf eine Vielzahl bevölkerungspolitischer und anderer entwicklungspolitischer Ma nahmen einzugehen. Es sollen hier exemplarische Wege aufgezeigt werden.
