She began as Ruth Anne Robinson, then Robbie Robinson, Ruthana Robinson, Ruth Robinson Rivera and finally Taru Ruth Rivera. The play with names mirrors her pathway of change. The arrival at publication is part of a new beginning and a willingness to be seen.
