The text evaluates Jesus' ministry from His baptism until His visit to Martha's home in Bethany on the Sabbath that initiated Passion Week. This book complements The Christian Holy Days, which is an analysis of Jesus' birth, each day of Passion Week, and the Resurrection. Baptism to Bethany completes an exegetical study of the words of Jesus Christ. The author has published in Christian periodicals on the subject of Medicine and the Scriptures and authored four prior books: The Twelve Generations of the Creation with Biblical Guidelines from Adam to Christ, The Mystery Revealed, The Christian Holy Days, and Made in the Imago Dei! He has studied Hebrew and Greek and taught Bible studies that emphasize Biblical languages and culture for over five decades. During his medical career, the author has studied internal medicine, geriatrics, and infectious diseases and been credentialed in these disciplines. He has published in scientific journals in the specialty of infectious diseases. His medical fellowships include the American College of Physicians, the American College of Physician Executives, and the American College of Healthcare Executives. He has held several administrative positions at an executive level including serving as Dean of a Christian medical school. He has served on several boards of churches and Christian organizations.
