It wasn't long before she came across a stray Border Collie that seemed to adopt her, she named him Raggs. In time she had trained her four legged friend to dance. They would dance for tourist for whatever money they would toss into her hat. The shop owners of Hollywood Boardwalk had named them Baggs and Raggs. And didn't mind them being around because they were good for business. Two years later she met a fortune teller named Daisy Dowson. Daisy was the owner of a magic shop, and told fortunes on the side. Because she had the sight, she knew that the bag lady was in serious trouble. Along with the help of her sister Dharma a gypsy they decided to protect this bag lady from harm. They had no idea that not only would they have to take on the bad guys but Jessica's family as well. And little did Jessica know her world was about to be turned upside down as she learned things about her family and herself that she would have never believed If she didn't see for herself.
