When Leesa Adams moves to a new town with her older sister Rita after the death of her parents, she hopes that it will be a new start where she might actually feel like she fits in for once. Then disaster struck. During a seemingly minor argument with her friend Vincent, he wanders out into the path of an oncoming vehicle. In Leesa's attempt to save, something goes terribly wrong and her friendship with him and all the others that she has met since her move will be changed forever. Told from the narrative of both Leesa and Vincent, Autumbra weaves through the lives of a group of college students whom all have their own internal demons that affect their daily lives - whether they may be physically or mentally in existence.
