Armed with a doctoral degree in quantum physics from Israel's Technion Institute, Hadar Rapp was heading for a position with Princeton's Department of Quantum Science and Engineering. However, when her family was murdered in a terrorist attack, she made a career change and became a kidon, one of Israel's state-sponsored assassins. By the age of twenty-five, three dozen of Israel's enemies were dead at her hands. But the shocking revelation that the Mossad killed her family in order to get Hadar and her once-in-a-lifetime brain to join their organization caused her to make another career change. After eliminating those responsible for her family's death, she became the rogue assassin, hiring out to the highest bidder.But when a young boy was accidently killed on her last job, she retired as a contract assassin. Now, she considers herself a pest control expert, ridding the streets of the vermin that attack the innocent. Unfortunately, one of those vermin turned out to be the son of the head of the Russian Mafia or Bratva. While the Bratva and Mossad share a common goal, namely Hadar's death, neither realizes that if you poke a viper, it will strike. When Hadar changes from the hunted to the hunter, her adversaries learn that her bite is as deadly as the poison of her namesake. She is Asp.
