Are you my new mum? Tells of the harrowing true story of the Peerson siblings. Unloved, abused, and neglected buy their biological parents.Astrid's father, an evil, narcissistic, pedophile, who abused his position as the head of the household. Her mother, who sat back, and allowed the abuse to go on for many years. Sometimes, even joining in with the abuse. Astrid tells her life story from the childhood abuse, going to a children's home, in to a few foster homes, and finding her forever family, with a long term foster placement, to eventually becoming a mother herself. Determined to never follow in her parents footsteps, she aims to give her children the very best in life.
