Synopsis "Another Foot: What Really Happened to D.B. Cooper? (in English)"

In the first book in the series, Foot, Tree Knockers and Rock Throwers, readers were introduced to the S'cwene'y'ti of the Northern Woods in the 1850's of the American wilds. Trapper Matt McGregor, along with an assortment of other characters, encountered the huge hairy men up close and personal. In this second edition to the Foot trilogy the story advances to the 1970's and 80's where Mattie struggles to come to terms with a journal left by her ancestor, Matt, laying claim to an encounter with these creatures by him, a wagon train, a bunch of trappers and a Spokane Indian tribe. Mattie seeks the truth and undisputable truth by venturing into the shadow of Mount Saint Helen, following a lead from a recent encounter. A former FBI agent seeks evidence of another kind, a mystery that has haunted him and has blemished his career. Beware though. There are other evils that lurk in the Northern Woods, greedy and ruthless. The truth will not always set you free. Sometimes knowing too much can be equally as dangerous as not knowing at all. Consequences can be costly if you dig too deeply into territorial boundaries. Venture too far and returning is all but impossible. Some mysteries should remain just that. Stay away from the great northern woods so warned the Spokane Indian Chief of a time that understood the dangers.
