Synopsis "Anna's Trip to Savannah (in English)"

Southern Adventures is a travel fiction children's book series. In the Southern Adventures series, Anna and her family are Cherokee Indians from North Carolina who spend part of every summer traveling throughout the U.S. South. Eight-year-old Anna finds adventure everywhere she goes, and she loves to try to beat her brother, whatever the game. Ten-year-old Carter is a history buff (and a bit of a know-it-all, according to Anna). Together with their parents, they explore each new city while learning about its history, sampling some of the area's unique food, meeting new people, and, of course, discovering new adventures! In Book 1, Anna's Trip to Savannah, Anna and her family visit the city of Savannah which is known for its culture, beaches, and as the birthplace of the Girl Scouts. Follow Anna as she discovers unique squares (parks), climbs to the top of a lighthouse, and steers a ship down the river!
