This book was written bearing in mind most young drummers, their tastes and needs, and admitting specially the difficulties that appear in the ways of those who try to specialize in the area of Rock. After evaluating foreign methods and mainly through my personal experience as a musician, I concluded that I can offer rock fans the possibility of studying and improving skills. To increase the learning archived from this book I suggest daily practice on an actual drum set as this in one of the routines professional drummers stick to. Este libro fue escrito considerando a la gran mayoría de los bateristas jóvenes, sus gustos y necesidades, y especialmente reconociendo las dificultades que se presentan a aquellos que buscan profundizar en el área del Rock. Después de haber estudiado métodos extranjeros y principalmente a través de la experiencia del trabajo personal, he considerado que puedo ofrecer la posibilidad de estudiar y perfeccionar conocimientos a los entusiastas del Rock. Partiendo de las practicas mas sencillas hasta las mas complejas se suceden 171 ritmos y 6 solos que por sus variaciones y progresividad permitirán a los alumnos adquirir técnica, fuerza y creatividad que son los elementos que este tipo de música exige. Para acrecentar el aprendizaje que este libro ofrece, aconsejo la mayor e intensa dedicación posible sabre el instrumento, siendo este ultimo el factor común que caracteriza a los grandes interpretes.
