Synopsis "All of Me (in English)"
Hal C Clark's poems are lyrical, narrative, and deeply personal, growing out of a sense of empathy and compassion. Open and accessable, they concern themselves with relationships, fairness, aging, and caring, and the choices we make in our lifetime. All of Me is a collection of brief poems divided into four sections. "Who am I" plays on how we see ourselves and relate to others, whether family, friends, or strangers. "Little Clues in Life" addresses the natural world and how we relate to it. "War and Other Conflicts" explores adversarial encounters, from actual wars to personal strife, between nations, groups, or individuals, and how we are affected by those encounters. The poems in "Just for Fun" are playful, humorous, whimsical, and - fun. Some of them rhyme, some use different forms, or use other changes to express the mood. All of Me is a passionate work conveyed with a caring spirit. Enjoy.
