My grandparents campaigned and challenged discrimination, they promoted equality and freedom. They were inspirational, it is only many years after their deaths that I found out what truly remarkable people they were. They came from opposite classes but both had a united belief in making the world a better place. They were Socialists and Activists and they educated us four grandchildren with their patience and love.
