Synopsis "A Testimony of Jesus 7: O Jerusalem, Jerusalem (Daniel; Visions and Dreams) (in English)"

There were three primary Old Testament Prophets that witnessed, and were caught up in the 586 B.C. destruction of Judah; Daniel, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel. Jeremiah tried for more than forty years to get Judah to see their error in false gods worship, and to repent of their falling away from worshiping the true God of heaven; the God of their fathers. But they would not hear his prophetic warnings! Daniel was carried off into captivity as a very young adult (perhaps even a teenager), in the first of three sieges by Nebuchadnezzar, and he began his prophetic ministry quite young, as a captive. And some Bible teachers speculate that he lived pass ninety years of age (or, about 510 to 500 B.C.)! According to the Book of Ezekiel Chapter 1, verses 1 through 3, Ezekiel was 30 years old when his prophetic ministry began. It was the fifth day of the month, and the fifth year since king Jehoiachin of Judah, he (Ezekiel), and other Jews had been carried off captives in the second siege of Jerusalem by King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. And there is no Biblical record that Ezekiel or Daniel ever lived in Judah again! Our previous book with the title and subtitle, "A testimony of Jesus 6: O Jerusalem, Jerusalem (Jeremiah in Perils)" looked at the destruction of Judah of Israel by the Babylonian Empire based upon the warnings and prophecies according to the prophet Jeremiah. And now, we have written this book with the title and subtitle, "A testimony of Jesus 7: O Jerusalem, Jerusalem (Daniel; Visions and Dreams). This book looks at the circumstances of Judah's destruction by the Babylonians from the point of view of Daniel, as a captive in the Palaces of Babylon. Daniel, even though a captive, remembers his commitment to the God of his fathers according to his Jewish teachings. And the LORD causes him to rise to positions of authority and witness of Him; the God of Creation and of Heaven.
