God is not gendered; why should our song and prayer invoke a masculine deity? In this book you will find more than 220 beloved hymns, mostly from the 19th and early 20th centuries, all of which have been updated to remove every occurrence of the words Lord, King, Father, Son, Brother, and so on. When necessary, hymns have been reworded to eliminate patriarchal assumptions or bias. Yet every hymn retains rhyme, meter, tempo, and theological intent identical to the original hymn. In addition, this book contains 23 all-new hymns created by Pearson Moore, some of which are drawn from his works of prehistoric fiction, Fire Wolf and Scimitar. All together, the hymnal contains more than 240 hymns, songs, and chants for every hour of the day, every season of the year. While most of the hymns are provided in English, a fair number are offered in French, Latin, Tasblish, and other languages such as Welsh, Spanish, and Inuktitut.
