Synopsis "A Professor's Tale: Research in Recession (in English)"
Join Kevin as he contemplates taking on student loans to allow him to escape from a desperately inadequate family background. His financial situation will contrast with those of Sebastian and Hugh, the two flatmates he is allocated to by London Lodging Bureau. The friendship of the three boys is challenged by the sudden appearance of the 2008 recession, but they discover a collective, innovative solution with the help of Sebastian's aristocratic father, James. Kevin then finds that he is able to pursue his desire for scientific research in genetics, along with his desire for Sylvie (or is it Felicity?). There's definitely an Entente cordiale with a major role for Kevin's mother along the way before the surprising conclusion with implications for them all.
