Postgraduate students often have difficulty getting financial support to pursue their studies. Join three young women as they begin their PhD studies in London where accommodation is particularly expensive. Sally will focus on molecular biology, Mandy on education and Kalpa on pharmacology. Their subjects are as diverse as they are, but the trio soon discover that they have several things in common while sharing a flat.
