Synopsis "A Physicochemical comparison study of Aloe leave and Aloe Gel (in English)"

The present study focus on the phytoconstituents of Aloe with a comparison strategy of physicochemical properties and activity between aloe leave and gel. Aloe Vera is the most popular medicinal plants, widely used in the prevention or treatment of skin diseases, metabolic diseases, cardiovascular diseases and cancers throughout the world. The phytochemical properties of various bioactive compounds present in Aloe Vera including glycoproteins, anthraquinones, vitamins, polysaccharides etc. By using FTIR and NMR the physicochemical properties was carried out .This study provides the information that when the Aloe vera gel and leaf were tested for different physio-chemical properties, then the yield of leaf powder is more in compare to gel powder, acidity of both the constituents are in the same range and the fat absorption capacity is also similar in both the cases. When the antioxidant activity of both Aloe Vera leaf and gel powder was compared it has been observed that although a similar antioxidant activity with the standard ascorbic acid is seen but the gel powder is having slightly more antioxidant property than the leaf powder
