None of those people and none of those organizations, none of those empty promises get to be the author of your story. It is all about you, just you, nobody else will do it for you, only you and you alone. Why are you still in the dirt? Get up! Time to stop all those unending and meaningless wars. Time to stop begging. Time for you to think and prepare for your children's future. Start doing. Stop being selfish and greedy. Help each other and make Africa the best continent in the world, because it is; and everyone knows it, and that is why they come and loot you of your things, they kill and rape your children and your wives. They make you live in fear. Do not be afraid of anyone, do not fear even death itself, be hopeful, be Stronger than ever, and get up. Do something for yourself. Thus, think hard about it. Take your time. And then you go and write what you want to write about what you want to become, a beggar or an independent individual, a slave, or a free person; but again, know that the story is yours to make. "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things."
