Synopsis "A Guide for Life Is God for Life (in English)"

In this book, eight brief scenarios about nine imaginary people will be presented. Even though the people will not have been modeled after anyone in particular, their intent will be to mirror what many people in this world consider the important issues of this life. The point that will be made with each scenario, however, is that every person, no matter what, will someday die. So if there is an afterlife and if that afterlife lasts forever, then rational, intelligent human beings to be rational and intelligent should be at least a little concerned about that life after death. While the topics of this book are serious, playful names have been used to describe the type of each person being discussed. For example, scenario one is about Abercrombie Gotitall. With a name like that, it should be obvious that he is very successful. Scenario two is about Barking Godislove. His main claim is that a loving God would never impose eternal condemnation on anyone. Scenario three is about Causing Imsogood. She believes that it is important to be a good person and to be involved in positive civic causes. Scenario four is about Doing Moregoodthanbad. Neither saint nor devil is what seems most important to him. Scenario five is about Eternity Doesnotexist. Eternity tends to rely on the smart people in the world to let her know the truth about the afterlife. Scenario six is about Foolish Religionisforothers. When he considers the costs of a favorable afterlife, he cannot make what he thinks are the necessary lifestyle changes to have it. Scenario seven is about Goober Faithshallow. She had repeated a prayer for salvation as a young girl. Then, throughout her whole life, she had counted on that one prayer to get her into heaven once on the other side of the grave. Finally, scenario eight is about Hadnut and Ioline Truefaith. Of the nine people discussed, those are the two who got it right. In the first six chapters, the first seven scenarios will be presented. The people will be introduced in chapters one through three and their eternal destiny will be discussed in chapters four through six. Chapter seven will explain why each of them ended up as they did. In chapter nine, what it will be like to die lost will be discussed. In chapter fourteen, the importance of seeking the Lord will be emphasized. Chapter nineteen will be an introduction to both Hadnut and Ioline Truefaith and their four children. The last part of this text will focus on Christians as being forgiven but not perfect. That part of the text will also address some of the difficulties that some of them had faced and some of their shortcomings. The final chapter of this text will talk about where saved saints go when they die. The Bible does not talk much about that topic. But from what is available, one can at least know if paradise is located up or down. From the first page of this text to the last page, the intent has been to exalt Jesus. He is the Lord. He is the one who died on the cross and rose again so that people can come to the Him by faith and be saved. He has made all things possible to every person who will come to Him through faith to be saved. There is one note, however, to be made with respect to the organization of this text. Something that the reader may find useful is boxes that show the different passages that are being referenced at the times and in the places where they are being referenced. That way, he or she will not have to jump all over the place or get into or out of the scriptures to locate a particular reference. Hopefully that inclusion will be of value to the reader.
