Synopsis "A Genealogy of the Descendants of the Coble's who settled in North Carolina in the 1700's: A Genealogy Project Three Generations in the Making (in English)"

This work was started by Rev. David Isaiah Offman (1864-1954), continued by John L. Coble (1923-1995) and completed by me. It shows the Koble/Coble Line back to Switzerland. It then traces the five Coble brothers/cousins who first settled in North Carolina and then spread across the country. They settled in Tennessee, Indiana, and Texas to name the major states covered in this book. Other lines that intertwined with the Cobles in this book are Allred, Bennett, Bowman, Clapp, Cox, Holt, Ingold, Johnson, Reynolds, Shoffner, Smith, Thompson, Wood and York to name a few. The Index is over 65 pages. This is still a work in progress as are all Genealogy projects. Future books will be dedicated to the descendants of a single brother/cousin and will reference this book for when a person marries the descendant of another Brother/Cousin. This book is dedicated to the Memory of Rev. Offman and John L. Coble.
