Science does an excellent job of pinning down details of how things work, and philosophy attempts to address the deeper meanings of why things happen the way they do. These essays ignore such distinctions, and blend the mechanics of science with their relationships to human perception. True objectivity, while humanly impossible, is the target venue.If the reader is inclined to either philosophical or scientific conversation they will find ample thought provoking material within this collection. The goal of these writings is not to prove a point, but an attempt to view reality from an angle not readily available within the context of daily life. It is the authors' opinion that the mere act of considering a unique viewpoint is beneficial in and of itself, assigning judgments of right or wrong useful only after such consideration. We are all guilty to some degree of contempt prior to investigation, and awareness of this prejudice may allow for new and often surprising perspectives
