كانَتِ الْقِطَطُ الثَّلاثُ قَدْ أحستْ بِالعَطَش وهِيَ في جَوْلَتِها في أحَدِ الْحُقولِ الْجَرْداءِ، فَراحَتْ تَبْحَثُ عَنِ ا لْماءِ هُنا وهُناك.وفجأةَ،ً لاحَتْ أمامَ أعَيُنِ الْقِطَطِ قارورةُ أحَدِ الرُّعاةِ، فَأدَرَكَتِ اْقِطَطُ أنَّها مَمْلُوءَةٌ بِالماءِ لِذا تَراكَضتْ نَحْوَها مُسرِعَةً و إذا بها تَلْمَحُ جِرْذاً كانَ يُحاوِلُ التَّسلُّقَ عَليْها،فقَدْ كانَ ذلِكَ الجِرْذُ عَطْشانَ أيضاً، وما إنْ لَمَحَ الْجِرْذُ تِلْكَ القِطَطَ حتّى سارَعَ للاخْتِباءِ في غارِهِ الصغِيرِ الْمَحْفورِ بَيْنَ الصخورِ عَلى مَقْرُبَةٍ مِنَ القارورةِ.ترى ما الذي حدث مع القطط؟
